We're not in Kansas [Utah] anymore . . .

What is going on in Ohio? I don't read local news. We don't even get any tv channels. All of my news is obtained through the internet, and in the last few weeks I've noticed that Ohio doesn't make the news for any good things.

This week's headlines:

Ohio Mom Angela Norman Charged With Starving Teen To Death; Daughter Weighed 28 Lbs.

Sheriff: Men were lured to Noble County by Craigslist ad

Excerpt:

"By surviving his ordeal two weeks ago in Noble County, the victim, whose name authorities haven’t released, helped uncover an elaborate scheme by at least two men to lure people with the promise of work from across the country to Ohio. Authorities say the real plan was to rob and kill them." Another victim wasn't so lucky.

And a couple of weeks ago:

Exotic animal laws called into question after Ohio killings

In this lovely gem of a story a man committed suicide after first unlocking all of the pens to his exotic animal zoo. Containing, but not limited to: tigers, black bears and lions, wolves, a baboon, a monkey, three mountain lions and two grizzly bears.

So, who wants to come visit? . . . Last I heard there was just one monkey loose still.

Wow! That's crazy! We turned on the news for the first time and heard about the two dead bodies found in Remington apartments. A murder and suicide. Looks like we moved just in time!
