????
I've pretty much been struggling since June--lots and lots of headaches, and well, an upset stomach for weeks now. Last pregnancy it just wasn't this bad. I know I had my moments, but it just wasn't this bad.
Food never sounds good, I just have to eat sometimes or I feel worse. I've discovered the comfort of shaved ice with juice concentrate as a topping in the past few days and that's been a treat I treasure.
I'm 12 or 13 weeks along, so at least I know the discomfort will surely end in February (within a week of Guy's second birthday-Feb 7), and that I get one more live in camera subject out of the deal. :)
And really, I AM excited--it'd be fun to have another boy so he can pal around with Guy, and the fact that we have all boy stuff already makes that idea very appealing, as well. If it's a girl, I'll be excited to do ribbons and bows, and all the lacy stuff I've really never even looked at much in stores. I'll even pull my sewing machine out for that stuff, and I'd love it.
Rob's a great dad, and Guy will be a loving older brother--he's already baby hungry, for months, he's been holding out his arms, trying to hold every baby that he sees, and if he sees a crying baby, it's worse--tears stream down his cheeks as he reaches for him/her, he wants to help so badly.
I know in some ways, the discomfort will get worse (as I get bigger)--I just hope the morning sickness (that has lasted all day for me) stops soon. Regardless, I am grateful--it's an amazing blessing that we get to increase our family with another one of God's children, and being the woman that gets to carry the child is a pretty special experience, too.
I certainly feel tremendously blessed.

Wow! Congrats, Caitlin (& Rob & Guy!). Nothing but sympathy for the all-day sickness...you may be right about it being a girl! Or it's just a boy who really has it in for you. :) Hang in there--I hope it gets better for you and that you start to feel a bit more "normal" soon (as normal as one can feel whilst gestating!).
Congratulations! I am so happy for you and hope that you start feeling better quickly!
Congratulations!!!!!
Congratulations!!! That is WONDERFUL (even though it doesn't seem so now:). I hope that the nausea and headache subside soon.
Try aloe vera juice. It's a lifesaver for me.
Awesome!!! My girl pregnancy was totally different than my boys...but either way, I'm so excited for you! I hope you feel better soon, too! :)
I'm so excited for you! Congratulations. Good luck with the morning sickness; hopefully it will go away any day now.
Ahhhhhh!!! Congratulations! :-D That's amazing

Congratulations! I am so excited for you! My heart goes out to you and your morning sickness, it really makes life miserable. I hope it goes away very soon!
Congrats!! I have wondered how you've been lately. I hope things get better soon! It will be interesting to see if it's a girl or boy this time.
Congratulations! How exciting for you guys. Hope you feel better soon!
Congratulations! I hope you start feeling better soon too. And when you do, let's get together again (or before that, if you want.) :-)
Congrats! You must have posted this two seconds after I checked your blog last night... Anyway, hope you're feeling better soon. We're so excited for you.
I was sick with all three of my girls. The first one was the worst though...I really wanted to die. But you are right,,, they are worth it. It won't last forever and you will survive. My guess is that it is a girl:) How exciting!!
Hey Congratulations! You and I are due right at the same time! This has for sure been my sickest pregnancy too. Sorry to hear you haven't felt great. Hopefully the morning sickness will clear soon for both of us!
Congratulations! That's so exciting!
